IAN PARTRIDGE CLOCK PAGES
400 DAY CLOCK

If the clock stops after 15 minutes indicates that it is not set up correctly. It is getting no impulse and is stopping. The pendulum may be rubbing or touching the sides of the platform. It must be free to rotate (3/4) threequarters of one turn.

The clock must be placed on a level, steady, surface. Below the base are 3 brass feet to level the clock. They need to be screwed up or down to level the pendulum suspension in the exact centre - so that it does not touch or rub the sides and the suspension is free to rotate.

Once the clock is set in the correct position it should run perfectly.
